Our clinicians can work with companies to co-develop study designs or work with established protocols, and we can provide access to our world class research and biobanking expertise alongside the clinical trial units. As a regional referral centre that sees a large number of patients, we provide excellent opportunities for recruitment, and we are also embedded in numerous regional and national networks.

£1.2 billion has been invested in biomedical research in Oxford over the last 5 years, resulting in the development of world class capabilities that are now accessible to industry. Oxford is also proud to be a member of both new NIHR translational research partnerships - networks designed specifically to help academia engage with industry.

Thanks to our new Joint research Office, we provide a single team to coordinate trial administration, governance, finance and contracts and business development for the NHS and University.  Crucially, that means collaborators can deal with just a single point of contact - streamlining the entire procedure.
